Sorry if this has already been discussed before......any recommendations on exhausts? I'm also thinking about a cold air intake vs. a K&N filter.

RPi exhaust. The only exhaust with proven HP gains. ![Smile](https://5series.net/forums/images/smilies/imported/smile.gif)

How are you liking your RPI exhaust after a couple of months... Has it changed, broken in?? Is droning still an issue??
Just curious

There is a mental "conditioning" period where you may get a headache or two but after you get through that it's awesome!!

Droning has gone down a lot after 900 miles. And I have really gotten used to it now. If that exhaust note was gone tomorrow, I would cry. ![Laughing](https://5series.net/forums/images/smilies/imported/laughing.gif)

Does it provide a sedate, deep, rich sound? Unfortunately, I live in a neighborhood that is pretty quirky about loud intrusive noise.
lol kinda like a deep rich taste like folgers?

The idle is quiet with a cold start but really nice and rich once the engine is warm. If you stand behind the car, you can feel the pressure on your chest. It's quite awesome.
You'll love the sound! You might want to have a friend drive the car so you can hear the exhaust note. This will help during the mental break-in period as it reminds you how kick-ass it sounds.

Oh and when you first get the exhaust, your garage will smell like burnt fiberglass for about 200 miles.

If you don't give it a lot of gas you'll be fine. The exhaust really excels in the higher RPM's.
