Can someone else who has a magnaflow muffler installed chime in here and tell me if the brackets on the stock exhaust was removed
and put(welded) onto the magnaflow and the hangar was attached to this bracket on one side and the stock bracket on the chassis on the other?
Or was the hangar welded directly onto the muffler and attached the stock bracket on the chassis ?
Help please
, this vibration is driving me mad ![Frown](https://5series.net/forums/images/smilies/imported/sad.gif)

Hello Everyone,
It's been a longtime since my last post. I got a lot of good information from everyone here about the Quad exhaust for my 530i, but just got to having it finished today.
Many people on the site have gone with the x-pipe, resonators, and 2 mufflers (one each side at rear) configuration much like the RDsport kit. The shop I took the car to did not like this arrangement because of the clearence issues on the passengers side rear muffler. Basically, they said it would rattle, so they would not do it.
Instead, they recommended an x-pipe, resonators, and dual inlet/outlet 14" magnaflo muffler right in front of the axle. From the muffler outlets to tips is just piping.
I have to say the car sounds great, not too loud, no droning, and no vibrations. If anyone is interested, I can try to take some pics, but I don't have a car lift.

what mounts did they use, mine were too rigid and passing all the vibrations on to the chassis, im having the stock ones put on this saturday.
Have to redo the hangers to get to work with the stock mounts.
