Sweet! Did you remove any of the resonators? If so, which one(s)? I'm curious to hear your feedback.

yes it will develop a deeper sound at around 2200-2500 revs, and also the carbon will build up in the exhaust box too........is yours a 530i?

- Nope, left all the resonators in place. It is nice and deep but a bit louder than i expected, so i'm hoping it softens a bit with carbon buildup.

- No its a 545, i'm assuming the carbon build up will make it a little bit quieter than it is right now ? am i wrong ?

You left ALL resonators in place and its a little loud for you? Even the big one piece resonator?
I have heard many set ups on the 545's and really like the xpipe behind the first 2 resonators then deleting the big one and on out to the magnaflows.

Just curious

All we did was cut the pipe and remove the stock muffler and put the magnaflow in.
It sound perfect from the outside but there is some droning inside inside
anyone know anything i can do to quiet it down inside ? (beside turning up the music)

Jake, are you referring to a quad set-up with the X-pipe in place? I'm debating about removing the big resonator when installing my Magnaflow. It's not a quad set-up.

Went for a longer drive and i love the sound, figured out where the problem is, when the car is in idle a faint vibration comes up from the seats. I can hear the lic plate frame vibrating when i look close.has anyone experienced this? im thinking it has something to do with the way the hangars are holding the muffler...ideas anyone
up side is the wife loves the sound and cannot sense the vibration

she can probably sense it, but not just telling you!

on a serious note, it will only get deeper. if you do not want it getting any louder, do not take out the any resonator!
