Is that a standard Euro length?

Better yet is that the same length as mine?

There are no standard European plates. All countries are independent and have their own legislation and standards for the registration plates.
In new cars the EU symbol is mostly present.

But not all European countries are EU members. EU is not to be compared to the US. For example Norway is not a EU member state.
And in some European countries they use their own (old) currency. In Finland, as well as Germany, the Euro (?) is in use, but the for example the Sweds still uses the Krona (Crown).

The Finnish plates are not as wide and not quite that high as the German ones, but in all European countries the front plate is obligatory.
In Italy the front plate can be very tiny, and in some countries the plates are not black on white.
