I have a 2006-- 530i with 35K miles on in with an Automatic Transmission.

Looking at ESS tuning\software remaping

its not for our. n52 engine , its for n54 !!
there is nothing out there for our n52. ;(((

ya if money was no ojbect I so want to do that kit. By the way its not a complete engine rebuilt. You simply change out the pistons and crank to ultimatley give the thing a longer stroke and therefore displacement. You dont bore anything out. The long pistons/connectors simply increase displacment. But it is 12k or something like that in price.

I think it would be a sweet engine

I wish I had a 535i that can be tuned for all that torque. I wonder with all these mods here and there why has someone not thought about installing a BMW OEM turbo on their cars like the one off a 335 or a 535 if it has one which I hope would not cause a hole in your pocket.

IIRC: N54 engine with RPI/ESS flash, scoop, and exhaust = 420hp....

I guess the 2006 530i has the N52 engine .
I have the RPI scoops with the K&N filter along with the
RPI exhaust installed but feel that it is still not cutting it.
What else can be done to boost some juice out of the car ?
