Until now, I thought I had H&R springs but realized that I have Eibach Pro Kit springs. Can anyone enlighten me if they are as good as H&Rs?

I was also thinking of getting H&R sway bars but now that I know I have Eibach springs am just wondering if I should match them with Eibach sway bars? Does it matter? If not, should I go for H&R or Eibach? H&Rs are thicker which means better doesn't it??

Thanks in advance!

Both are good. We have a mixed setups in the forum, mostly H&R sport. Depends how much gap you want to get rid of. I think you can get whatever sway bars.

+1. for sure both are good. eibach has been said to be the closest ride to stock though. with my eibachs, im more than happy with them, comfortable yet "sporty". for the sway bars, i have a friend with an e36 m3 running on eibach springs and H&R sway bars.

HR are manufactured in Germany, while Eibach is a USA brand. I think made in Riverside/Irvine. Most people run HR on German cars, while Eibach is big on Japanese cars. Also, my friends who do drive Japanese cars and have eibach springs complain that they sag after a year. That's one of my main reason I went for HR.

Here's how I would rank the three suspension options mentioned here from softest to firmest: Eibach Pro kit, H&R Sport, H&R coilovers.

What about sway bars? Any experience on the two brands?

No experience with sway bars but I'll try to remember asking the guy that modifies my car. I'll be seeing him tomorrow.

Thanks for the input guys.

I've read Pinguhk comments about his sway bars and he loves em. What I'm interested to know is whether to get Eibach or H&R sway bars. I'm favouring H&R as they are thicker and German tech.

Anyone know the size of the existing sway bars on the 550i??
