ecu remapping/tune

I drive a 2006 530i with SMG and was curious if anyone has had any luck with getting this engine's ecu tuned/remapped and what kind of gains you've had. What the cost involved was and who you went to. I'm in southern Cali so I'd prefer local, but willing to do what I gotta do. Thanks!
