I have done a lot of searching and cannot come up with an answer to this. Can the factory air bags on the rear of the e61 be coded out through the ECU? I know with my E55 when I added coilovers I just had to change the ECU setting from AIRMATIC to STEEL in the code line and all errors associated with the removal of the compressors and sensors connected to the air suspension were nullified.
