Anyone have a recommendation for a short shift kit for my manual trans 535i? Haven't found much info on possibilities.

UUC should carry one, the stock is the same lever as in the 550s. or you could grab an Z4 3.0 one and bend it like I did.

Rogue Octane SSK/WSR and Zeckhausen CDV, BMW illuminated shift knob, Delivered 4/26/06 - Ordered 3/18/06 from Otto's (the Best) BMW Dealership.

I went with the Rogue Octane with the weightedshift rod on my 550i and like it. It's not as short a shift as the UUC inmy e39 528, but it feels smoother. Frankly I think its mainly due to the fixed length because with the UUC I have the lever adjusted as short as possible.

Either one is great- make sure to get the CDV mod also.

Best single mod I've done.
