E60 M5 Seats in e60 525d Airbag problem
Hello all ! I have a problem after retrofited m5 seats in a 525d e60 semi electric interior ! The problem is that the M5 seats are from RHD car and my car is LHD ! I wired the head restraint function +bypass occupancy sensor but still have this error :
"Function of the airbag, belt tensioners and belt force limiters faulty. Ensure seat belt is fastened despite the fault. Have the problem checked by the nearest BMW service. "
I saw in WDS that my old interior had 2 individual wires for '' Generator for end fitting pretensioner, driver's seat'' but the m5 seats don't have something like this !
I will atash the error which appear in ISTA .. I tried with 2ohmi resistor on that 2 wires to bypass belt tensioner error. The errors from ISTA gone but the lights from dash is still on!
Anyone from here know what to do or what i did wrong ? Thank you in advice and sorry for my bad english !

I would think you would have to code the module to let it know how you changed it then reset the time on the system. Or it could be as simple as resetting the time. The resistor I think will now correct the module because is seeing something has changed. Passenger seat airbag to the driver side and vise versa.
