Mark, if you look at halogen pre-LCI's angel eyes, you'll know that there really is no option to make them any brighter. The only size that'll fit into them are T10's, and even the high intensity LED for them is still too little light.

sorry for bumping such an old thread....

I bought some LED's from a local guy to brighten up the angel eyes in my 2006 550i... I really want that bright look that the newer 335's ive seen around town have... so bright that they look awesome during the day

but im finding out that to pull that off, I need to go with the HID instead of LED's

through a search, someone mentioned to search for brabusw209amg.. and here I am..

anyone know the best source for some good HID bulbs for my angel eyes?

thanks!!!

brabusw209amg = John@Motorcepts

have another post and PM him!! but I don't think he has HID angel eyes for pre-lci models. You can either go with some brighter LEDs or Orion Rings V3 (which I'm still debating myself LOL)

Yah, 2006 you can't fit HID angel eyes unless you want to do quite a bit of modification.

And unfortunately, there is no plug and play solution that'll have your angel eyes comparable to the new 3 and 5 series.

your car will not fit the HID.
you will need the single LED which I think you have installed, that is the best you can get for these set of lights.

We also offer the HID kits for $199 + shipping to forum members. They aren't plug and play but they are bright.
