E60 LCI 535d remapped (UK)
so does the chip then over the years reduce the engine life or turbo life?
I am thinking of keeping my car until around 2009 atleast (unless i win the lottery then its a straight M5/B5)
Prob clock up around 50-60k miles.

I have done a few runs 0-60 with my Gtech Pro RR and I am not so happy.
The power according to my Gtech was exactly what the rolling road stated (best run out of 10) 304.5Hp and torque was very close 439lbs/ft (dyno 305.9Hp and 445.5lbs/ft). Acceleration 0-60 on my Gtech is 5.8s-5.9s average and 1/4 of mile 14.1s.
Has anyone of you tested any runs in 335d/535d with Gtech?
Peter

Excuse me, what's the difference between a french/german 535d LCI and an english 535d LCI ?
A different engine step ?
What does that "(UK)" in the subject mean ?
It's the time you understand there are German, France, Italy, Spain, United Kingdom, Holland, Sweden, Denmark, etc.
Not Europe then england .
Or even england then Europe .
The same for who is ordering a new car : you are ordering a 530d like all other people in the world, your 5er won't have nothing special compared to others, so avoid to specify in the subject you are ordering a new car from UK .
Sorry for the clarification, but in last few days I am reading it in many subjects . While never seen a subject like "I'm from US, pls only americans help me with the configuration", although it's full of Americans here .

I think our man was just pointing out he'd had an experience with a UK chip-tuner and was asking for help from others in the community who'd had experience with the same and other UK chip-tuners.
Anyway, our cars are different in the UK - RIGHT HAND DRIVE...

[Cue Alex going on about how that makes the cars slower]
Right, I need to figure out if I'm going to get my new MINI Cooper D chipped - I reckon 140PS shouldn't be too difficult.

The CooperD should be nice, congrats! With a nice fuel consumption, I figure .
