I thought comfort would be pretty high up the list when designing any car seat ( not an optional extra that you have to pay for !! ). I do not accept that you should have to pay extra, or specify anything special to get comfort.

Agreed, but sadly it's not the case.. Tried all seats before order was placed. Realised comfort seats was a prio-1.

My wife's new Honda CR-V has better (More comfortable) seats than the standard E60. Sux to pay big money for a car and in top of that I need to pay extra to get good seats

I had the same problem with my sport seats. Looking back i should have ordered my car with the comfort seat option...damnit. Anyways, I retrofitted the comfort seat headrests onto my sport seats. Now I'm happy.

Never had this problem in my E39. Now those were sport seats.

I went to the BMW dealer today.

When I was there, i went to see the new 2009 e60. I noticed that the standard seats have different headrest now (i bought my e60 last year).

E60 Headrest...NOT-2009_e60_headrest.jpg

They really make a big difference so I ended up ordering two new 2009 headrests.

Maybe now the seats will be more comfortable ???

Well, I have a july 2007 LCI but the headrest are different.
