Ditto... ( just got 590mile on a tank of gas at 80mph. So it's not hurting that much)

We wanted to do a bolt on intercooler but because of where the oil cooler sits, the lines and bracket, it was more work than we hoped. There would have to be quite of bit of modification in order for a larger cooler to fit. With that being said, I am working on a stage 1 package which should give us around +30whp. Im not disclosing the details yet but I will say one thing though. It wont be with a piggyback. They simply dont put out the results we would like to see. They might be good for dyno figures but in real world, mordern car's ecus are darn smart and they pick up on it eventually.

Man, $1200. I just googled intercoolers for the 535 and it took me right back to the forum. So there's nothing for E60 owners?

that's the same problem every company faces when trying to design an FMIC for the 535i....

and yes, the 335i is differently configured regarding the oil lines, making it easier to mount an FMIC with little/no modification....

after searching the forum briefly, I was able to find one thread where a member has mounted an aftermarket IC on his 535d
