I HAVE A 545I WITH NAV BUT I COULD NOT GET A THE DVD TO WORK IT LOOKS LIKE IT HAS AN OPTION MORE IT IN THE ENTERTAINMENT MENU BUT IT IS GRAYED OUT. LET ME KNOW.

You can play DVD movie, when you purchase the rear entertainment system. In US, you can not play DVD movie in the front dash.

The rear entertainment system consists of a DVD library in the trunk, LCD monitor in between the two front seats.

Just a quick question, does the CD player supports CD-Text???

If this is true, then this would be truely awesome! E60 is the way to go!!!

Yeah I noticed the CD text on that pic above. Incubus rocks.

Looks like you downloaded the song based on the "official" listed in the CD text.

Too bad that only the indash CD player supports CD-Text! I guess that by the time that MP3 support will work, it will also be limited to the headunit player only.

I tried to get the NAV DVD to PLAY a DVD film and it didn't work.

To bad

I would have been nice.

Maybe someone will figure out how to get this to work some day.

I wish there is something like the Acura and Lexus people have. They have some type of a box that connects behind the DVD Nav player auxiliary sockets.Then they add a button to switch between Nav and DVD.. Here is the link for your painful pleasure
