Hi Everyone
? ? I am Dominic from www.NavWithTV.com. I just wanted to tell eveyone that we have a new module for the E60. The new unit has 2 composite video inputs and S video input , built in TV-Tuner and FM modulator. The cost on the new unit is $550 and will work on all E60's Nav or no nav. Yes it also has video in motion. Feel free to call me at 718-763-7367 if you have any questions.
Thanks Dominic

Are there any outputs, which could send a video signal to, say, headrest monitors?

Thanks

Exclamation

Hi
The web site is being redone, but I will try and post a picture later this week. If you need an output to drive back headrests you can Y off the signal.
Thanks Dominic

Two questions
1. Everyone talks about how the mod goes in the glove compartment, does this require you to remove the CD changer (permanently)
2. Most importantly, this has to absolutely destroy the warranty on the car. I am extremely interested in doing this, but don't want to take my car in for a service check and have them tell my that they are going to charge me for it because I made modifications to the car.

Any thoughts?

Guest:

This does NOT destroy your warranty!!!!

Since the mod does not require splicing or cutting the original BMW wiring loom, it is TOTALLY REVERSIBLE. The best mods are ones that use original connectors so that if you change your mind, no problemo.

When you connect the NavwithTv module, the only part of the warranty that is NOT covered is the iDrive Screen because you will have plugged something in between it and the original BMW wiring loom. For example, if you have this mod and then your rear PDC sensors go faulty, you WILL be covered by the warranty.

However, if the iDrive screen burns out (which will NOT happen anyway) then that part alone will NOT be covered.

Hope that explains it a little.

Unless you remove the unit before taking the car back to the dealer. Another bonus for a device that uses factory connectors, etc.!
