Hi Rudy, Thanks ....

As far as using the module and no NAV, my understanding is that you "disconnect" the iDrive and the module hooks up to the screen and allows you to have a stand-alone DVD player attached. Of course when you need to use the iDrive, then you have to switch things around. Of course that was my understanding, but I could be wrong. I will try and verify that info.

I think it overrides the idirve, so once it's switched off, idrive is back.
That's how the most of those modules work!

Here is the answer from NavWithTV -

"The unit has a remote to switch between DVD and Nav. You push a button on the remote and it switches. Feel free to call me at 718-763-7367.
Thanks Dominic"

Okay, I spoke to Dominic a while ago, and he quoted me 550.00 for the module, you remove the two screws from the idrive screen it comes out and you remove the existing plugs and plug in the module then you plug in the existing plugs into the module and it just allows you a input option to hook up a number of periferals, there is a remote sensor that you can place at the top of the grates of the idrive housing you also have to hook up power and ground which you can you the power and ground from the cd changer. I also asked about a multi discount and he said depends on how many. Saving up to get this module so i can have some type of nav and movie for the wifey on some long trips.
