Mine gets lag too when going hard into 2nd gear- sometimes the light doesn't even blink but I can definitely feel the computer getting off the throttle. I've complained and they've checked and said it's normal but it is annoying. I've tested even with DSC off and it's still there but not as bad. At first I thought it was the VANOS and I was just off the cams, but it's got to be electronics and throttle lag- My e39 did not do this.
