Folks, after a year of joy-riding with these beauty. There're starting to fail on me.
I love the attention these HID AE's are getting but have noticed they dont turn on as they should, even with DRL setting set to on. I have tried turning off and on via the iDrive control...nada. Then after car warms up, 2nd or 3rd time driving during the day then DRL would turn on and stay on.
this is not John (Brabus' kit) and yes, they flicker at engine startup when DRL is in off setting. Local vendor installed, well local 40+ mile drive away so wanting to self diagnose. What diag tools would you recommend?
I have checked wiring and fuse. Yep that's as deep as my diagnosing skill goes. Anyone can throw a lead this way would be appreciated.

Good tip, easy enough. Will do, might try 10K bulbs to reduce overall light output. these bad boys are SO BRIGHT!!!
