I was looking on Ebay earlier to pass the time and i came across Audi style DRL

Has anyone fitted anything like this to their E60? if so can you put some pics up as i'd like to see what it looks like.

 

I think it's an Audi thing and should be left for the Audi... :thumbsdown:

I think if you like the audi lights you should get an audi, we have angel eyes.

 

The LED surrounding the headlight is a bit out of place, too busy for my taste, IMO. May be those little ones next to the fog or possibly replacing the fog, similar to both Mercedes and Porsche wouldn't be too bad but ain't my cup of tea though.

Do whatever you want since it's your car.

 

I agree that the Audi LED's look cool but, as already pointed out, I have no interested in making my Bimmer look like an Audi.

 

Never on a BMW unless it comes OE....

 

You guys either didn't pay attention or wasn't around, but BMW actually came out with this as a retrofit accessory for E60s this past December. There has been a few threads about it, but no one has tried it. It's not a cheap part either if I remember correctly, somewhere around $300-$500. (So 545IbupasdU, it indeed is an OE option)

In any case, it seems like BMW is going towards that direction regarding DRL as well. Prelim. report is indicating that the facelifted 7 series is going to sport some kind of strip LED DRL on the headlights.

 

should just be LED rings, a la Orion v2...

 

BMW has the angel eyes, Audi has the leds, Mercedes has the leds on the bottom foglights. And now those lexus are putting up the leds on their head light which seems very tacky and weird.

 

Call me weird but is it a crime to like the audi headlights more than our e60 headlight?
