My Ride: E60 530d Sport - Carbon Black, Black Dakota Leather, Media Pack (satnav, bluetooth, CD changer), heated font seats, through load
VW advertise on TV about how anal they are with designing stuff like cupholders, and the sound a closing door makes. I guess it's supposed to convey their attention to detail.
I've always found VW/Audi cupholders veyr good. Never had a BMW before, so I'm not sure what to expect. Doesn't sound like they're too great though.
Perhaps BMW need to poach a few VW engineers. The ones that designed their cupholders.
BTW, are cupholders standard fit, or an option on the US spec cars? I just assume they're standard, because they are in the UK.
