doing it cutting off my resonator

hey guys have been thinking about it for a while to cut off the resonator im going over to American muffler in Westbury ny at 3 to have it done the car right now is too quiet doesn?t sound fast at all.


i will keep you updated on how it turns out

Which resonators? All 3 of them. The resonators are there to keep the minimize the droning at lower rpm or when you are "tugging" your engine. Otherwise, if you accelerate and shifting at high rpm, you probably may hear a slightly higher exhaust sound, but not any "wow" factor in sound level.

Rob I did this on my car a while back when I had the Magaflow muffler and it sounded great. It was a cheap and inexpensive mod. I have straight pipes now with no resanotors and a X-Pipe and I love the way it sounds.
