I just installed SB today and noticed that it looks like from a stop the car starts from 1st gear now every time. Before i installed it, i could have sworn that if I was in regular D mode...the car started in 2nd gear. I think the SB makes the tranny think that I'm actually flooring it when I'm actually just feathering it and thus it starts in 1st gear.
I don't really like the fact that it always starts in 1st gear because when I just want to cruise the extra shift is annoying. It makes the acceleration less smooth.
Another observation is that the car actually downshifts now on the highway without having to floor it.
I wish there was a ON/OFF switch for it though. Sometimes when I'm just cruising on the highway and speed up just a little it downshifts and my wife thinks I'm trying to race someone.

That would be even more annoying to have to do that. There's a reason I got an automatic. I'm lazy.
