RPA is German for TPMS :-) The local BMW dealer said that by going to non run-flat, the monitor will be triggered more frequently since the tyres are not as hard as run-flat, hence changes in pressure are more noticeable. Obviously you're not having problem....
Replicas look really bad when put side by side to the real ones....

I've got some new tips already so hopefully have some time to chop off those pipes and install them this weekend. Don't know if anyone mods the exhaust on a diesel - I have no idea what it would sound like - and would hate to make its current sound louder!!

I think the RPA we have (if your's is an 03), measures the speed at which each wheel rotates relative to the others. If one deflates it will rotate faster and trigger a warning. l thought TPMS usually refers to the tyre pressure monitoring where a sensor actually measures the tyre pressure, like in my 911. I suppose in theory what your dealer says is true, but I haven't had any issues whatsoever, once I've reset it.

No. The wheelbase is a little longer due to the gearing I'm running, but it's probably just the race fairings that make it look long. This was my first experience with aftermarket fibreglass fairings and put me off getting the same for my car. Incidentally it would have cost more for the painter to paint these fairings than it did for my MTech kit, so I did it myself Christmas before last - the experience was good as I've had to repair it a few time since!!

Re those puny exhausts many have commented on..
Another DIY today. Couldn't get a pipe cutter to fit between the pipes so decided to use the hacksaw which meant taking the bumper and towbar off to gain access...

I'm in New Zealand.... (thru a dealer in Dunedin, though I picked it up from BMW NZ Warehouse which is less than 10mins from where I live!)
