Im debating on how to black out my tail lights.I want to just black out the the red part and leave the white part. So my question to you all is.

Paint it?
or
Tint?

PROS AND CONS with both.
Any sample pics with your own cars
What are the differences in both with quality and price....

thanks in advance guys...

Tint. If you ever change your mind or want something different, you just rip them off.

I guess there's two kinds of tint that I'm debating on using,

Theres the VINYL Tint which is like a sticker that can be peeled off and there's the window tint which is thinner but can't be easily taken off. It leaves a residue.

ANyway, I went to a tint shop and theyre about $60 to $80 installed.

I'm still contemplating on doing it...

I'd tint them... you'll get bored of the smoked out lookk after awhile so having it removable it a good thing. If you paint them, you'll have to buy new ones if you change your mind later.

That does not seem too unreasonable

Doesn't the smoke paint get dull after awhile? Does anyone make a smoked spray that is glossy?
