Hey guys I need some help.
I recently installed my ACS trunk spoiler with the 3M double-sided tape. I left with tape for 24 hrs and didnt drive the car.
The spoikler looked good at first but once it was out, the spoiler satrted to come loose.
The problem is the heat factor in Miami, the 90-96 degree weather everyday doesn't let the tape sit correctly so is always loose, I tried installing it twice even bought m,ore tape, but nothing.
So if there is any othe rproduct to install these spoiler plase let me know, or if any one has had similar probhlems.

Bud, you're supposed to screw it on, too.
You know the lip that attaches to the side fender? You need to put 2 screws into that wheel well on each side. Then you don't have to give a damn about the tape failing. Also, don't use tape. The part in the center you can put some epoxy and glue it to the middle of the OEM bumper and call it a day.

+1 use Goo Gone to remove any contaminants from the area, then use Goop adhesive along with the tape to hold it on. This will give you a much stronger bond. Good luck, an i you need any more help feel free to PM me.

did you remove any wax from the area first? it's not the heat, I have had spoilers attached to my cars with that 3m tape for at least 4 years each and never had a problem with them coming loose, I live here in Miami as well...

+1 Not the heat. Not the tape. It's the prep.
