I have an 08 550i and have wanted to get my ECU remap. I was leaning towards the Eurorev after speaking with Vincent but I would have to send my ECU. From what i know about the Eurorev remap, it will provide more HP versus Dinan. However, I am scared that if I have any problems, i would have to send my ecu back to them to flash it whereas my dealership is mod friendly and can provide me a Dinan flash. My only mod is the K&N drop in minus the charcoal filter. Has anyone done the ECU reflash on an 550i with Dinan yet?

Curious as to the build date of your 550. I stumbled into an opportunity to get the Stage 1 Dinan remap today, but was disappointed to learn that it isn't possible as of yet with build dates after 02/08. Perhaps Eurorev is the only option for you right now.

Since I bought my 08 used, I am sure it was built in July of 07 or earlier. How can one verify for sure? How much was the Stage 1 Dinan remap setting you back and what gains were you expecting.

Speed Innovation/ EuroRev remap same thing. Jesse works close with us

Trust me, for the price you pay for the competition, you will get the same bang with the our remap for a less expensive price.

Click on my SIG for dyno results! PROVEN POWER! Please remember this is a Dyno Dynamics (read low), but the power gain is OBVIOUS.

It's not the same thing when other people sell it.

I'd go with the Speed Innovation reflash. Dinan just isn't worth it. I believe if you FedEx overnight early AM to Eurorev they have a one day turn around time so you'd have a two day turn around time.
