Brought my car in for a Dinan stage 2 software installation. After close to 2 hours they came out and said it is complete but now there is a DSC error being thrown and the DSC light remains lit. They asked to keep it overnight and gave me a loaner. My question is has anyone who received the stage 2 installation experienced this, and if, so, what was the fix? I was thinking 1-2 hours and I'd be happily on my way but right now I have a 328 loaner instead.

Did they dyno it? If they did then you may have to just drive it for about 10 mins and shut off the car and turn it off and it'll go away. Keep us posted.

They called this morning around 9am advising it was all set. Picked it up without issue and HOLY CRAP!!! Its like a new car when aggressive with the pedal - it just keeps pulling, and like it was before but smoother and less lag when driving regular (my wife will appreciate that part).

I'm so psyched, I feel like a kid on Christmas morning!!!

Nice! Congrats.

I felt the same way when I got mine. It really does transform the car!

I test drove a RWD 335i before purchasing, and was even more impressed. First and second gear was just a lot of tire smoke

I see you have a XI... so I'm willing to bet when they installed it they had to disconnect the batt.

You will get several errors until you drive the car a short distance and turn the steering wheel from opposite lock to opposite lock.

This usually clears the DSC/AWD errors from Xi cars when the Batt is disconnected.
