I assume it does based on the following description:
"The software safely raises the rev-limiter by 100 rpm, enabling you to carry more road speed in each gear, as well as optimize shift points. The top speed governor has been removed, enabling the cars to reach their natural top speed. Revsised EML tuning provides improved drivability by speeding up throttle response."
I emailed my sales guy there for additional info and will report back.

Without speed limiter, you can go up to 170mph. Correct me if I'm wrong.
Nobody knows it, here : I have asked but here nobody answered .
Only answers like "about 280 kmh", nothing more .

Thanks much. But, I am betting that your excerpt does not imply quicker shifting. Optimizing shift points sounds good though. I wonder if it means that you can actually control when the Step shits when shifting manually in DS mode under full and high-RPM acceleration--or whether the Step would still override what one wants to do and shift when it thinks optimal.

Make that TWO Dinan whores now! And thanks for the heads-up here. Looks like XMAS has arrived early for us.
Now if we could only get a hold of that new Dinan 5 badge, supposedly to be released any day now?? Or is it a few more months still in their wind tunnel for further aerodynamic tweaks??? Ha ha.
Thanks again and Best Regards ALL!

Update: I got my software installed yesterday! I'm in love with my car again...throttle response is crisp. The engine feels like it spools up faster. Definitely feel seat-of-the-pants improvements in the drive. Haven't tested the new top speed though...
Also got the new Dinan aluminum pedals. They look very sporty and elegant. Wish they made a dead pedal... Forgot to ask them about that.

Congratulations, great news! Keep feeding us your impressions as you get 'used to' the software e.g. shift points, highway, stoplight, etc. Curious how Dinan's 8 hp compares to the double digit gains reported by the other 'chip' guys on the road.....
