Bottom line: if you put in Dinan performance mods that result in a mechanical breakdown, you will be left solely with the coverage offered by the Dinan warranty.

Has anyone else actually ever had a major mechanical failure associated with a Dinan mod and had to turn to Dinan for coverage under its warranty? Did Dinan step up and pay for the repairs??

My old 545 had all Dinan performance parts (Stage 3 software, intake, throttle body, exhaust) and also CF front and rear strut braces. Never had any problems with the car so I didn't have to experience the warranty situation.

Same here, no issues and if BMW does wipe your flash, Dinan will reflash it for free.
Dinan seems the safest when it comes to your warrenty.

my 2 cents
