Roleez, you are the savior. It was your post , thanks. I do remember reading all your stuff and thanks for posting the audio clip and pictures of your install. That is what helped me decide!
So all the mods were great, BUT you still had to have an M5! That is my concern, if I keep doing mods and eventually end up with an M5.

Very cool, wish i was in the market when your 550i was for sale!
Ihave 57k miles an 1 year of cpo warranty left. I'm going to take my chances and see how far she will go. I figure the loss I would realize in selling it and the cost to purchase another car has to be more then keeping this one and paying for the repairs. I hope I'm correct. Plus I really like the car and its performance is still superb.

Thanks Ryan, how is the M5 purchase going?
It's hard to find for my exact taste. I'm looking for
CPO.
Have fun with dinan exaust. I'll let you know if I need
to parting out other dinan parts.

Same thing happened to me as Roel. I had all the Dinan performance mods too (Stage 3 software, throttle body, intake, exhaust..) on my old 545 but eventually switched to the M5. You should stop wasting money and pick up a used M5 now. ![Big Grin](https://5series.net/forums/images/smilies/imported/biggrin.gif)

I drove my friends E39 M5 today, it is truly an awesome car. I still love the look. I can only imagine what the E60 is like.
