DInan Exhaust Installed!
#1
Took 1.5 hours on Sunday. A buddy and I jacked up the car and did the install. All I can say is WOW! For those of you with a 545i or 550i that are comtamplating an exhaust, DO IT. The DINAN is expensive but it works perfect through out the rev range. Here are some pics of the stock vs DINAN .
I was using BB phone.

That's freaking awesome! Did you guys have to weld it or was it a clamp on? Was it pretty easy to align? Nice work!

nice! thanks for sharing. I want to do this along with the high flow intake! The Dinan website quotes 1.5 hours for this install as well, so it sounds like a fairly straight forward install. How would you rate the installation.
0=easy, go for it
10= difficult, special tools required, leave it for the pros
I would also like to hear a sound clip!!!

We used a clamp. Alignment was pretty straighforward. You have a way to jack your vehile high enough and have a Sawzaw to cut your old one off, its pretty easy.
