I've been doing alot of research on mods for my 07 550i. I spoke with Dinan and they suggested the 3.45 Differential (Manual/SMG). They said the torque increase is well worth it. Has anyone done this and does it really help?

I would not recommend it. I looked into it a while ago and found out that it changes the ratio but keeps the open differential.
It will produce more torque but it'll still be going to one wheel. LSD is the way to go and from all that i've read here and other forums quaife is one of the best.
