but why do you need the larger screen? You can only watch tv while not in motion. If you could watch tv whilst moving than the larger screen is good because you can watch tv on 1 side and do navigation on the other half.
Just to make sure, ill ask my dealer again tomorow about the tv tuner and to make totally sure.

I think it is for safety reasons, because when the car is in motion the screen is black, but having the split screen you can have infos displayed on the right. Without it, you would lose the complete screen for the warning message, and that might be the reason... But I can't tell you. I wish I would know what's on their mind when they write software and stuff...

I think it's the same on all cars. It's analogous terrestrial and the car is in motion... I haven't seen it better on any other car here in Frankfurt.
