Hi you all,
Has anybody tryed a power box till now for a diesel 530?I saw a product called race chip, that "they" say it does wonders(30% more power, and also...%more torque).I would like an opinion from somebody that has it, or anything similar.Can you FEEL the difference?

 

I'd say forget the tuning box, go for a software remap of the engine, it will give you the same benefits without extra cables and buttons.

PS. You can FEEL the difference with a software remap, I know that for sure. I've had my old E39 525d software remapped and it worked wonders for it.

 

I have a tuning box and yes you can feel the power, cheap and does what it says, id rather a remap though as it is a proper solution to power and MPG, either way the box works a treat

 

asa ca: nu vreau resoftare, deja ma doare capul pt ca am facut la contempo up-date-ul de soft si am avut probleme.acum le-am rezolvat si nu mai vreau sa umble NIMENI la soft.Daca ai chef arunca un ochi la www.race-chip.com, sa vezi ce face la 530d.am vb cu ei si l-au recomandat cu argumente pe race chip pro.

 

Can you please tell me the trade mark of your power box.Do you know about race chip?you can find it at www.race-chip.com.Ispoke to them and they recomanded race chip pro(because it's got the latest of their software)you gain from 218hp(my case) to 283hp.so.....????

I cant buddy the previous owner gave it to me!!! i assume it was under ?200 english pounds!!! the difference is massive though
