cman,
My headlights seem fine, but then again I'm not as anal as you.

bad bimr,
the left headlight is working as designed. It will turn to the left while you're in motion. At rest, it won't have the same range of motion. The primary reason is not to blind oncoming traffic when coming out of a parallel park. It's the reverse for UK folks. Someone here mentioned this a while back.
Cman,

I know what you're asking.. not sure the lights will compensate for the 2" - probably will have to check with your SA

are all the headlight adaptive? I could not tell if mine are since I have never driven my car at night. I do have the Xeon does that mean they are adaptive? It may be time for a night cruise.

I figured it out, thanks to nick60gre! The front struts have a "level sensor" for the front headlights. I went to the dealer today and told them that's what I thought it could be. Sure enough, that's what it was. Apparently, my mechanic who did the spring install moved the sensor and didn't realize it. This is why my lights were not leveling out. The sensor was out of wack.

Anyway, it's all fixed and my lights are back to normal. Thanks of course, to nick60gre!

yours are, but you need to turn the switch to the left (auto lights) to have them adapt. if you turn your lights on manually (turning the switch to the right), they will NOT adapt. stupid, i know. if you want to test it, turn the car on and turn your lights to auto mode. turn the steering wheel to the right. the headlights should follow. they won't turn to the left though, unless you are going over 25mph. this is to prevent you from blinding other drivers when you're at a light and they're coming at you. make sense?
