Did anyone do Navigation Retrofit on Non-6UA?

If you look at the retrofit pdf file that ajay posted, and read a couple of threads that people have posted about their expierences. It appears that 6UA is really just a wire that is missing. It goes from the Shark fin to the dash. I could be wrong though. Since I leased my car, I'm pretty hestiant to take apart things.
