Hey guys.. i have a 04 530I and need to add a Iphone interface for my car... i'm sick of having CD's.. i talk to so many people already and they are all confusing.. i have a single CD changer with already pre wire cd changer and blue tooth... i did so much reasearch on the dice interface ... will it just be just plug and play..??? do i need to have it flash.. the dice unit is like under $200.00.. the ipod interface is like $400.00 bucks.. scary.. and gotta flash it which is like 200 bucks more.. OMG.. i mind as well just add a double din head unit ... but i dont wanna touch my factory at all... so guys.. what do i do... i wanna just keep everything stock.. and just wanna add dice.. if i gotta get it flash.. is there a way i can do it myself..?? or any local place i can go to in Los Angele CA..??

The interface is great. There are two options. Either the Dension 500, or the OEM Ipod interface. Both will need to be programmed by the dealer.

You can find the OEM ipod interface online for $250-$260. The dension 500 is a little more, but you have a few more options There are a few people with the dension 500 and can definitely chime in.


I have the OEM Iphone/ipod interface.

Unfortunately the DICE iPod integration kit is not compatible with the E60 models because they utilize the newer fiber optic based audio system. Your best bet would be to get the OEM integration kit from BMW.
