Hi all,

I have a 2005 E60 M5 in Australia (professional nav + TV tuner etc).

I have installed the Dension Gateway 500 and this works perfectly.

Now - with the AVR - essentially you go to your ipod, select the video you want - then chose "TV" from your entertainment source menu and it should work.

Instead - the ipod video freezes and then the audio from the TV tuner starts.

If I run the Gatweway on "UI Ipod" - and manually control the ipod I can get the video to display on the screen but no audio.

The audio is all connected though because when I chose the video the audio plays - but when trying to get both audio and video on at the same time i run into troubles.

Has anyone else had this same problem and if so please help me rectify it!

Did you install the Dension 500 and the AVR by yourself or had it done by a shop? I have these kits, but I couldn't have them installed, The 500 is relavtively simple. But with the AVR is kinda complicated. Thank you.

 

It is still at the shop - been there for a week - waiting on useless Dension to tell us how to rectify the problem.

About ready to rip it all out and send it back for a refund it doesnt do what it should.
