Hi,
Looking on the various forum areas I have found some excellent pics of the Dension Gateway 500 installed in glove box and pics of the display. I have been bought one for a Christmas present but the wife won't let me have it until 25th.

I intend installing it myself and don't want any surprises. It all looks straight forward except for the power supply. Has anyone installed one of these and if so where do you take the power?

Any help would be much appreciated. I will post a full description when I carry out my install.

The Dension needs to be hooked on to a "steady plus" - that is important and is described incorrectly in the instruction guid, atleast in the german instructions.

the plus can be hooked off the cd changer - it is the red colour, the ground is the brown colour..

good luck - it is a 30-40 min job. just make sure you have uploaded the latest sw for the dension from the dension homepage: http://support.dension.com/support-center/...t=12&id=110

cheers

Go to http://www.dension.com/main.htm then click the tab "Where to buy".
They can then direct you to a local dealer.
