Deleting resonator

My Ride: 2006 540i Carbon Black, Sports Pack, HUD, Comfort Access, Sunroof
I currently installed Remus exhaust on my 540. Its very subtle, doesnt bring out the V8 sound. I am contemplating deleting the Y-resonator.
Has anyone gone down this path ?
How would it sound like ?
