Dealer having problems with Aux in
My dealer is having problems with the Aux in mod he has installed for me.
The Aux in option is selected on the entertainment screen but no sound from any source he has tried.
They have pulled everything out rechecked all the connections, they say that they will have to email BMW in Germany for help so I thought someone here may have some experience that will help.

I had the same problem too, although with mine it messed up a lot of stuff. My whole iDrive went completely retarded, it would shut off, turn on, randomly do some functions but not do others, no sound from AUX in, etc, etc.
Bottomline, I took it in, and it turned out that they had plugged it in wrong, it took them 30 minutes to fix and now it works fine. So I'm with nmc in thinking they got the wrong instructions too.
Now that I think about it, I'm starting to think that the initial mess up is what's causing all my other electrical problems too (High Battery Drain, SOS Call System Malfunction). Anyone else think they totally f*ed up my entire electrical system by doing this?
