Anyone know how to turnoff the DRL? or do I have to go to the dealer and ask them to turn them off? Thanks.

Unfortunately, for an '04 545, the DRL is a dealer setting. In later models it is done thru the iDrive. Though now that I think about it, I can't recall if a later software update on an older car makes it an iDrive option....

Review the lighting section of your owners manual - a copy is available in the info section of this forum. A quick scan of the section indicates a DRL menu in I Drive is NOT available. Maybe a software update is required to access the DRL settings? http://www.e60.net/information/2004_..._Manual_US.pdf

Not on an '04 unfortunately! Now maybe you could change out the headlight units but they are over $1,000 each. I just left the DRL's off in my '04 545...
