Have been looking around online and couldn't find a answer.

Found a post on another website but it's over 6 months and has yet to be answered.

" I've actually found is that when I select enable driving lights and set my light switch to auto, my low beam is on during a sunny day. When I turn off daytime driving lights and keep my light switch to auto the lights and angel lights are off. I found the only way to keep angels on alone is to set it to parker lights..
Is that normal with you guys ??
or should my angel light be the only thing on with one of those settings. "

Thanks,

if my DRL's are set to on.. the angel eyes stay lit up. If its set to DRL off, everything stays off.

I guess a easy way to ask this question is. Is there away other then setting the lights switch to parking to have only the angle eyes on during the day, without the low beam coming on.

Hey rods, do your low beams come on as well or just the angle eyes?

My DRL's stay on always since this is selected in the I drive. With my light switch in auto the low beams do not come on until they are needed.

It's because you have 2008 xenon. If it's a pre-LCI, the inner flash to pass will be lit at lowered voltage as DRL. Unless it's got LM2, then it can be coded to use angel eyes as DRL.

Thanks,
You most likely have LM1 since your car is 2004. Unless your light module was replaced (due to accident or whatever), your LM should still be the same one from factory.
