I read a couple of topics here about getting the software reprogrammed to do certain things like have my mirrors fold in when I lock the car and unfold when I unlock my doors and all that. I was wondering if that would be ok for me to do and get my software updated on my car at the BMW dealership? Would it show up when I go to the BMW dealership? And who can do it for me, if I can't do it myself? Prices? Any information would help. I did try to find some info but I can't and I guess my search ninja skills aren't as cultivated. Thanks guys.

Have heard of no report thus far of dealership having any issues. For what it's worth, the dealerships' tools aren't sophisticated enough to check for these things or modify it. However, if undergo software updates, the pertaining modules would be wiped to factory default.
