Let me tell a short story, we experienced last weekend:

Last weekend I moved with my family to salzburg. On the way, we stopped at one of those Landzeits (=highway-restaurants here in .AT). We went to the shop just to buy some refreshment drinks to take away. We then, have been standing just some meters away of the car, seeing a group of japanese (or chinese) people surrounding and taking pictures of my car. Some of them even positioned themselves just in front of the car to be photografed with the car in the back. I and my wife recognised that and started to grin. Did they really think to see an M? Strange.
