Yeah a very good deal. I would cancel my repair appt. for that, but I need an 18X9 inch rear wheel. I've been looking on eBay and didn't find any.

After you pay shipping and tire remove/replace/rebalance, I think you will be well over $250. Which is why I am using the repair option. I've read mixed thoughts on wheel welding repairs, but since this crack is on the inside at the edge, repair is considered a safe option.

I think the BMW style 124 rims are a fundamentally bad design and inferior quality product. BMW should have recalled them. There are far too many reports of these rims cracking on the inside like two of mine have done. However, this and the use of runflats are my only quality complaints with this car so far.

I had mine cracked also before for no reason....replaced it for almost $480 bucks. + 1 on the recall for 124's

I'd guess that the rim was also bent and your repair guy did not straighten it. The guy I chose will check for bend and straighten it, if necessary, for another $25. In any case, I just can't see giving BMW another $500 to replace another of their defective POS rims.

I have a set of 124's that I just took off my car that I can sell. I was going to get them refinished, but it turned out that the right front had a bend in it. The body shop I was dealing with didn't specialize in wheel repair, they were just going to powder coat, and couldn't fix the wheel.

I haven't had a chance to clean the wheels up yet or take any pics, but I thought I would just throw it out there if interested. Not a wheel expert at all, but I would imagine that the bent wheel can be fixed as I've seen some repair before and afters on some websites, and it doesn't compare in damage to those. Not sure what I would ask for the wheels.
Again just a thought. If interested let me know and I'll see if I can clean them up for some pics for ya.
