Coming Mods--Roof Spoiler-Trunk Lip Spoiler--Which One is Best
Jerry, I would stick with ACS for the reason you stated above just cause I don't like to mix and match products as much as possible. I'm actually thinking of selling my ACS roof spoiler to get the RDSport roof spoiler.....
Now if only Hartge made a roof spoiler, that would probably ideal for me since I have the Hartge splitter and diffuser.

I wouldnt go with the ACS roof spoiler and the M5 decklid spoiler together, they're different styles that dont seem to complement one another.
I was originally going to go with this combo on my car but it just didnt look right and needed the overhang of the ACS decklid spoiler to balance things out.
As for Ebay stuff, chances are if its too cheap its a knock off, especially when the vendor says AC "Style" in the ad!

EuroCarFan has the ACS roof spoiler and M5 decklid spoiler on his M5. It looks good.
Thanks Joe!
I've never really thought about the combo. It's just that the M5 came with the trunk spoiler and I had the ACS roof spoiler from my 545 so I just stuck it on. I was thinking or replacing both with the RDSport trunk and roof spoilers but those are way down on my todo list.

These are the exact two spoilers I got from spoiler depot. There are 2 types (styles ) of ACS roof spoiler one M5 the other is e60. The difference is subtle but noticable. check the ACS site and you will see them . The M5 version covers the rubber window gaskets the e60 version butts up to the gaskets on the sides and top. The version you are looking at is e60, the Bimmian one is the M5 style .
Thanks for your help.
Which one looks better on a 08 550i(knowing we have M-Tech kit similar to M5)?
Do you have pics of your car you could show everyone?
Thanks.

You might want to take a look at the Rieger deck lid spoiler. As far as looks its between the ACS spoiler and the M5 spoiler. Just me, but I think the ACS spoiler is over doin it, it almost looks like a nascar spoiler  . Rieger looks like a scaled down version of the ACS spoiler. It would be good match to the ACS roof spoiler, in my opinion.

Yah ACS trunk spoiler gives the Trunk a dinning table effect lol..
I've been debating between Rieger's and MTech Trunk spoiler..

$310 shipped (w/o paint) http://www.modbargains.com/product.aspx?pf..._E60_spoiler_PR
VS

$179 Shipped (+$60 w/paint) http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...bayphotohosting

that rieger spoiler is looking pretty good...
Thanks for all your input.
But help me out here.
Assuming I get the Rieger Spoiler(Trunk Lid)and the AC Style Roof Spoiler---how much is it going to cost me to get everything done (including match the paint)?
I have a new Space Gray Paint Color and nobody seems to be able to quote me on matching it.
Would it be easier to have the guys at EuroRev do everything instead of trying to save money and do it myself?
What would be a reasonable price to pay comparatively from EuroRev (or somebody similar) compared to self install?
Thanks.
So Cal
