Some people change out the top mount bolts, but we reuse them.

Don't need them for the fronts or reuse the fronts?

The front top mounts nuts we reuse. Other than that the front you don't need anything else.

Just to clear.... I need bolts for the top hats and 2 bolts mentioned.
2/Front Strut Mount BMW# 3133675273
2/Rear SHock Mount BMW# 33526779611

Just curious about a couple of other parts what about Rear upper spring pad part#33536753765 and front lower pad part# 313331096664.

Also will I have to get an alignment done, after the install? anything to be done to keeo it in spec? I just had one done not to long ago and would hate to have to pay for another one. Thanks just trying to get it right.

You don't NEED to replace the mounts if the rubber is fine. I would get an alignment after about 300 miles (after springs settle).

I would say a big YES on the alignment. Remember, there would be a big change in the suspension as well as ride height.

i dont see why you need to replace nuts or bolts..
my k sports came with pillowball mounts up top so it was complete bolt in. no bs, drop the old suspension, and bolt in the new. didnt buy any new parts.
user rizbel, if im not mistaken has an awesome write up on DIY for CO install.
i did mine,(dont have dynamic drive or auto level headlights) and it was a cake walk. the only difficult part was deciding ride height. loll
ill see if i can find that diy
your car looks low, figured you were on coils already.
heres a pic. the coils with the big cyclinder looking part are for the front which drop into the spindle and the rears have the mount on one side and the ball joint/eyelet on the other.
hope this helps.

I have a set of springs and bilstein sports sitting in my garage ready to be installed. I'll be replacing all upper strut/shock mount nuts, and rear lower shock bolts. They're cheap, and I don't like taking unnecessary gambles. I lose every time

cheers.

Also, from what I've read from somewhere, if one DOESN'T have sport suspension and want to lower with coils, it's also a good idea to install the sport version of the rods that connects to the front swaybar. Otherwise the lowered height with the non-sport rod would put too much tension on the swaybar. Can somebody confirm?

Thats smooth, definitely would be great to have a simple install. I see you doing K Sports how much did those run you? what made you go with those? I have both dynamic drive and self leveling hope that doesnt suck. Nah no coils, just stock sport suspension my front sits low its just my rear that needs to go a tad bit lower not going to cut any springs. But I have 91k on the car figure if im going to change shocks and struts might as well do coils. they cost damn near the same price.
