In addition to painting the side of the caliber facing outward, did you paint the other sides of the caliber as well (such as the inner side touching the brake pades and the back side (facing the engine)? If so, how to get to those sides without swinging the caliber away from the rotor?

No I Just painted the areas of the caliper that is visible.

quick question, which parts per the diagram are normally painted? what about the rear sets?

I just dont want to paint something that's not supposed to be painted and can't undo
